The two British brands, both born from the gym and dedicated to providing their respective communities with specialist products for training, will release a limited-edition collection of R.A.D®'s two shoe models, the R.A.D® ONE V2 and R-1. The drop will go live on Wednesday 10th September from 5pm for early access, and 7pm on general sale.
The move marks a landmark moment for two of the UK’s biggest exports in the performance space, both founded by British entrepreneurs called Ben - Gymshark by 33 year old Ben Francis in 2012, and R.A.D® by 36 year old Ben Massey in 2022.
As a global leader in the gym apparel market for over a decade, Gymshark has received continued demand from its community to expand into footwear.
Known for providing clothing, with an extensive collections of tees, leggings, stringer vests, sports bras and more, to ensure it can continue to cater for anyone who wants to hit the gym and better themselves, the expansion into the training footwear category with R.A.D® was the missing piece of the puzzle.
Meanwhile, R.A.D® has built a cult following in the UK and US fitness communities over the past few years with its revolutionary approach to training footwear. The brand provides trainers designed by a team of industry veterans (ex-Nike Innovation Kitchen and Adidas) and engineered for technical excellence without compromising on style. Its first product launch in January 2022, the R.A.D® ONE, sold out in just a few minutes. Famed for its athlete capsules, particularly in the CrossFit space, this latest collection marks the brand’s biggest and most high-profile collaboration to date.
The limited-edition collection features the two R.A.D® modles in Gymshark’s trademark muted colour palette, featuring White Silver, Weighted Purple, Pebble Gray and Triple Black.
